Diana Marie Augustina Schultz began Augustina Cellars in 2019 as a queer, female-led boutique winery in the Pacific Northwest. After decades in food & bev, hospitality, events, and wine education, Diana dove into production to gain more insight and caught the maker bug. She endeavors to create wines that pair with delicious food, honor the authenticity of each varietal, and partner with wine growers that are caring stewards of the land. In Portland, Diana studied at The Wine & Drinks Academy (formerly The Wine & Spirit Archive) where she continues to teach, and has certifications from The Wine & Spirit Education Trust and Wine Scholar Guild.
